Good location for us, 500m from my birthplace and close to my family. Also near the center. Nearby there is a reasonably priced parking garage (10 euros for 24 hours) if you do not get parking for 15 euros in the hotel.
It smelled a bit weird in the hallways.

Really enjoyed attentive and caring staff and big hotel.
Grounds were kept spotlessly clean, breakfast was rich and great. The location was marvellous, not far from all the bars and restaurants and the center city of Groningen. The rooms were newly renovated and equipped with normal fan, a view as a bonus plus good lighting.

The beds were very comfortable and the breakfast buffet was awesome. The city center was easy to reach.
The sheets had black spots despite laundry. The shower head had too little pressure.

Nothing to complain about, a good place to stay. Everything was pleasant, everybody very friendly. Our room had a nice view of the old town of Groningen. Can really recommend.
Better to take a train to Groningen. The parking fees are high, even in the Park&Ride car park.

The fees for the parking are steep, but for a city hotel in the Netherlands it's fine.

Service & attention, from the receptionist to the night desk colleague was 1st class,attention to the customers needs was superb, even down to ensuring I had the right kind of pillow, essential to me for a good nights sleep I will use the hotel again, great value for money.

Huge bed, very clean room and great facilities. The included breakfast was very good. I liked the personal little touches; a bowl of apples near the lift in case of a snack requirement and umbrellas available for loan (it rained while we stayed at the hotel). Great hotel, we intend to return next year.

The hotel surpassed my expectations with a really good breakfast that included freshly baked croissants and freshly squeezed orange juice. The staff were cute and accommodated my late checkout request effortlessly.
